Tutorial #11 is on Grading Timed Assignment 1 Exercise and the 4 sample essays are sent for print today and so it will be ready for collection only on Monday.
You MUST COMPLETE this exercise if not your tutor will NOT return your timed assignment.
INSRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS
1. 4 sample essays are given to you: Part (a) ?Samples A & B and Part (b) ?Samples C & D.
2. You are to grade the essay using the marking scheme given.
3. You are to justify why the scripts deserve say an L2 or L3/E1 or E2.
4. Highlight the strengths of the essay.
5. Highlight the areas of improvement:?Look out for possible errors such as wrong definitions, unclear explanation of concepts, lack of analysis/illustration of examples, no introduction or/and conclusion, etc.
